How It Works

This timer is fixed at three minutes for a straightforward everyday cup of tea.

Step 1

Get your tea in the cup or pot, then pour the hot water as usual.

Step 2

Press "Start 3:00" right away. The timer begins counting down from three minutes.

Step 3

When the countdown reaches zero, the app plays a short beep pattern to tell you the tea is ready.

Three minutes suits many black teas. If you later want green tea or herbal presets, this page can be extended into a fuller timer app.
